The GRASS TEC 864 Soft Close Cabinet Hinge is proudly MADE IN THE USA. It features a face frame hinge with an integrated soft-close, eliminating the need for additional installation. The hinge also boasts a three-tiered adjustment switch, allowing for various levels of resistance in the damping system.

Constructed from steel, TEC hinges have a solid metal hinge cup, and all moving mechanism parts, including pivot pins, linkages, and springs, are hardened to ensure long-term durability. The soft-close damper is premounted in the hinge cup, and there is an adjustment switch to regulate the closing action.

This one-piece hinge and base plate combination allow for 3-dimensional adjustment, with an 11mm (7/16”) cup drilling depth. The front locating tabs position the hinge on the face frame and it works with current Grass insertion machinery. Each hinge includes installation screws: 2x #6 x 5/8" Wood Screws and 1x #10 x 3/4" Wood Screw.

The side cam adjustment allows for +/-1.5mm(1/16"), while the height adjustment at the mounting screw is+/-2mm(3/32"). The depth cam adjustment is +2.5mm(3/32"), -5mm(1/32"), with a screw hole distance of 45mm (1-25/32") and a cup boring diameter of 35mm (1-3/8"). The hinge overlay is 1/2", and it is part of the TEC 864 series, suitable for face frame cabinets.

The fixing type is screw-on, and the closing mechanism is soft-closing, with a hinge opening angle of 108 degrees. The base plate is a wrap mount, providing a 3-way adjustable in and out cam adjustment for easy installation.
