In 1981, Schaller developed and patented a totally new category of product, which revolutionized the connection between guitar and strap. Schaller has been setting the standard in strap locks for decades with its unique design and functionality. In 2018, Schaller paved the way for the next generation of revolutionary strap locks, proudly presenting the new S-Locks.

The new revolutionary S-Locks are silent. They feature one-piece hardened steel strap buttons, an aesthetic design, perfect handling, and an elegant Lock-Wheel. All former issues have been tackled, making 3 pieces equal 1 S-Lock, which is perfect.

The new and unique solid one-piece strap button in hardened steel with self-tapping wood thread can simply be screwed on with a 3 mm Allen key. The new Lock-Wheel has a unique 3-step security function. First, the lock wheel can be screwed with a patented self-locking thread tool-free by hand, already providing sufficient protection (with the round shaping facing the pull-up ball). Second, a 2 mm or 5/64'' Allen key or screwdriver can be used to tighten it for maximum security. Third, the micro cone-top screw can be used to attach it permanently, ensuring the wheel will never be lost.

Once all parts are assembled, the S-Locks deliver a silent performance. Give them a shake or a roll, and you will be amazed by the noiseless experience while moving and playing your instruments. All S-Locks come in a new and attractive reusable crystal box.

The S-Locks are fully compatible with all existing Schaller Security Locks, and only one strap and one pair of S-Locks are needed for all your guitars. Simply use the new strap buttons replacement kits to equip your instruments with the new S-Locks.

The 4 mm/ 5/32" screw with self-tapping wood thread fits all existing strap buttons, including Gibson, for a perfect replacement without any adjustments on existing holes and screws. The hardened steel and more than double thickness of the strap button guarantee maximum security against breakage. The extended thread length can accommodate straps up to 6 mm in thickness. The new designed slanted locking bolt in stainless steel ensures permanent precision, reliable performance, and a wear-free finish. The new designed pull-up ball also provides easy-grip lock and release.
