ESI's ROK BLOCK XL 7-inch Gap Cover is the original and patented tailgate gap cover, designed to eliminate debris from falling into the tailgate gap. This product is compatible with most pickups worldwide, including the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2021 and newer Ford trucks with a hinge retainer bracket, Ford Lightning, 2019 and newer Ford Ranger, and RAM 2500 and 3500. However, it is not recommended for Ford F150, F250, F350, and F450 (except 2021 and newer models with a hinge retainer bracket), in which case the 4.25-inch width ROK BLOCK (ASIN: B00BPE4AP6) should be used instead.

The ROK BLOCK XL 7-inch gap cover saves time and prevents damage to the tailgate. It doubles as a tailgate seal, preventing dust, fumes, and water from entering the truck bed when using a bed cap or tonneau cover. To seal the tailgate sidewalls, the patented Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal (ASIN: B00IPQWXZQ) can be installed separately.

The ROK BLOCK XL is not compatible with certain pickups, including the Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, RAM with RamBox, Ford Maverick, Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Titan, Toyota Tacoma, and Toyota Tundra. Additionally, it is excluded for Ford trucks with Pro Access Tailgate, Honda Ridgeline with Dual Action Tailgate, RAM with Multifunction Tailgate, and Hyundai Santa Cruz. For Utility Vehicles (UTVs), the ROK BLOCK UTV (ASIN: B0D435WZM4) should be used.

The ROK BLOCK XL features 3M ST1200 tape that adheres to all surface finishes, including spray-on bed liners. This product requires 25 lbs. of pressure to bond the adhesive. For bed and tailgate liners, the ROK BLOCK XL is installed under the liner.

The original tailgate gap cover, the ROK BLOCK XL, is made in the USA and provides a reliable solution for preventing debris from accumulating in the tailgate gap, saving time and preventing damage to the tailgate. When the tailgate is closed, the ROK BLOCK XL folds into the gap, doubling as a tailgate seal.
